Amman, Nov. 14 (Petra) -- Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ambassador Zaid Al-Lozi met here Wednesday with Antigua and Barbuda Foreign Minister Chet Greene for a discussion on establishing stronger economic and tourism ties between Jordan and the twin-island nation.
The meeting underlined the importance of opening an embassy for Antigua and Barbuda in Amman (opened in March this year) and its role in promoting bilateral relations. The discussion also dealt with a number of Middle East issues.
Antigua and Barbuda is an independent Commonwealth country comprising its 2 namesake islands and several smaller ones. Positioned where the Atlantic and Caribbean meet, it's known for reef-lined beaches, rainforests and resorts.
