Amman, Nov. 14 (Petra)-Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, met on Wednesday with President of Jordanian Unions' Council, Ibrahim Tarawneh, and heads of professional unions.

During the meeting, attended by Deputy Prime Minister and a group of Cabinet ministers, Razzaz said the government is now working to crystallize the government's priorities for the years 2019 and 2020 according to an action agenda that focuses on making a difference in the quality and level of services provided to citizens.

Razzaz noted these priorities include specific projects with appropriations in the state budget, which the government will prepare in the next two weeks.

These priorities, he pointed out, are in line with the Royal directives, focusing on three axes that aim to develop political life, protect freedoms, create jobs, stimulate economic sectors, and enhance education, health and transport services, which constitute the cornerstone of the national development project.

The premier noted the government's belief in the partnership with professional unions as houses of expertise and the keenness to take their feedback on the government's action priorities, which he stressed would not be "a list of wishes" and will be applicable, and measurable, and subject to accountability in the event of non-implementation.
