Morocco: 3 die in mine breakdown


(MENAFN)The Moroccan official MAP news agency declared that 3 people have died as three more were injured after a mine for zinc and lead broke down collapsed in the eastern province of Jerada.

Jerada authorities confirmed that the mine was operated by the support of an authorization to extract zinc and lead in the area of Ras Ousfour.

It added that the wounded were saved and shifted to hospitals in the nearby city of Oujda to receive medical care, meanwhile the victims were recovered from the debris.

Probes were launched into the case.
