Turkish forces detain 74 suspects due to alleged relations with FETO


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, not less than 74 defendants were detained acroos Turkey by security forces for their supposed relations with Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), the group behind the 2016 defeated coup, according to security sources.

Turkish forces detained 82 defendants in an Adana-based process arried out across four provinces, said a source who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

The suspects are accused of collaborating with "covert imams" of the terror group.

Two other FETO suspects were detained by police in a process carried out in the Black Sea province of Zonguldak, another source affirmed.
