(MENAFN) A disaster agency official declared that 3 villagers have died as landslides struck Indonesia's southernmost province of East Nusa Tenggara on Monday evening.
Spokesman of national disaster management agency Sutopo Purwo Nugroho confirmed that heavy rains triggered the fatal disaster.
Sutopo added that Emergency relief assistance have been provided to the injured villagers.
Landslides and floods are common during heavy downpours in Indonesia.
