(MENAFN) On Monday, the defense minister emphasized that Turkish security forces "neutralized" 38 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq over the past three days.
Turkish government frequently use the term "neutralized" in their statements to indicte that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were murdered or captured.
Turkish airplanes targeted the terrorist locations in Gara, Zap, Hakurk and Avasin-Basyan regions, the National Defense Ministry tweeted in a Twitter post.
The terror group's armament emplacements, shelters and ammo stores were also damaged in the airstrikes, the military affirmed.
