Israeli expert: China key to cyber industry growth

(MENAFN) Israeli Argus' chief marketing officer suggested that China is key for the growth of the cyber industry.

The statement has been made by the chief of the Israeli cyber security firm, Yoni Heilbronn, after the wrapping up of the 5th World Internet Conference in Wuzhen.

China was confirmed to have made an appeal for the advancement of digital economy to be accelerated, along with the encouragement of the global Internet governance system.

The official stated: "today, in cyberspace, on a global scale, we lack more concrete rules of engagement, as well as cooperation between nations, on how cyberspace should be governed and administrated."

Heilbronn added "international cooperation in fighting cybercrimes ... is crucial, because without international collaboration, we will be weaker," noting "global collaboration is key to improving cybersecurity."
