(MENAFN) Turkey is being targeted for the establishment of stronger ties with Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Japan's official development aid agency is involved with technical and infrastructure assistance initiative while cooperation with other organizations, including the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
The long-standing relations between Turkey and Japan are "very important", as stressed JICA representative Miyuki Konnai during an interview with Anadolu Agency.
Konnai further added that "one of the most important activities here is disaster prevention activities."
