2 IS supporters detained in Morocco


(MENAFN) Morocco detained two individuals suspected of being followers of the Islamic State (IS) terror group.

The two detained individuals, 18 and 25 of age, have allegedly been plotting to launch terror attacks in Morocco.

In a statement, the Moroccan Interior Ministry announced the suspects to have been seized in Inzegane and Ait Melloul, southern cities in the country.

According to preliminary inquiry, a suspected of the arrested IS supporters was unveiled to be a former convict under the anti-terrorist law, while the other is only a university student.
