(MENAFN) Argentina's football clubs Boca Juniors and River Plate snatched a ticket to the Copa Libertadores final.
Boca coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto suggested that Argentine fans will be granted the opportunity to rejoice through the major football club event set to take place in South America following the weak performance shown by the national team.
During a news conference, the coach stressed: "Boca and River have put Argentinian football in a place where it's never been before."
Schelotto added "in the past few years, the Argentina national team has been battered, [whether that is] individually or the national team itself because of the results."
