Amman, Oct. 30 (Petra) -- Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi on Tuesday met with Peter Ramsauer, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development at the German Parliament (Bundestag) and a number of members for the committee for a discussion on Jordanian-German relations and Middle East issues.
Safadi said Jordan is committed to further cementing ties with Germany and establishing closer cooperation to bring about stability and security in the Middle East.
The meeting reviewed regional developments, especially those related to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the Syrian crisis and the Syrian refugee crisis.
Ramsauer praised Jordan's humanitarian role towards the refugees and the establishment of security and stability in the region.
