Palestine Pres. urges Central Council to take bold decisions over cause


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Sunday it was high time to implement previous resolutions of by the Central Council regarding the US, Israeli occupation and Hamas.
Central Council members had called for halting security coordiantion with Israel, rejecting so-called deal of century, suspension of ties with the US until the latter reverse its decisions over Jerusalem, refugees and settlements.
"They left us with no option towards conciliation or settlement," Abbas told a session by the Council in Ramallah, West Bank.
He said the council was probably facing the most "difficult and dangerous situation" ever.
Abbas reiterated commitment to the Palestinian just causes and demands.
He underlined that East Jerusalem would be a capital of the Palestinian state. "Palestine is not for sale or bargain," he added. (end) nq.bs
