DOHA: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Law No. 15 of 2018, amending some provisions of the Law No. 15 of 2002 on civil aviation.
The law is effective from the following day to its publication in the official gazette.
H H the Amir also issued the Amiri decision No. 66 of 2018 on the reorganization of the Civil Aviation Authority. The decision is effective from the following day to its publication in the official gazette.
H H the Amir issued the Amiri decision No. 67 of 2018, establishing civil aircraft accident and incident investigation unit. The decision is effective from the following day to its publication in the official gazette.
H H the Amir also issued the Decree No. 53 of 2018 on ratifying an air services agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua, signed in Montreal on November 28, 2017, text of which is annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution. The decree is effective starting from its date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.
H H the Amir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the tourism field between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of India signed in Doha on 5/6/2016.
H H the Amir ratified the instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of financial evasion with respect to taxes on income between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of Ukraine (the Council of Ministers) and the attached draft protocol to it signed in Doha on 20/3/2018.
H H the Amir ratified the instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement on cultural cooperation between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Panama signed in Doha on 10/4/2018.
H H the Amir ratified the instrument of ratification approving a cooperation agreement in the education field between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Panama signed in Doha on 9/4/2018.
H H the Amir also ratified the instrument of ratification approving a memorandum of understanding for the preparation, training and qualification of human cadres for work in airlines, air ports and airports between the Qatar Aeronautical College in the State of Qatar and the Mohammed VI International Academy of Civil Aviation in the Kingdom of Morocco signed in Rabat on 12/3/2018.
