Gaza receives Egyptian delegation to wrap up talks


(MENAFN) The Gaza Strip received an Egyptian security delegation on Monday as they used the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing.

The purpose behind the visit is for negotiations with Hamas officials to be finalized and concluded.

The Egyptian delegation is consisting of Egyptian intelligence officer Ahmed Abdel Khaleq, who manages the Palestinian issue, the crossing's media office stated.

Hamas leader in Gaza, Ismael Haniyeh was unveiled to be scheduled for talks with Egyptian officials.

A Hamas statement said: "Haniyeh has begun his meeting with members of the Egyptian delegation."
