Plan to increase police in Khairan to boost security


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham has asked Director General of Kuwait Municipality to issue licenses for new security points in Lulua Al-Khai-ran area, reports Al-Shahed daily.

In the letter he sent Kuwait Municipality, Lieutenant Al-Naham revealed about the recent observation of the increase in the phenomenon of reckless driving in Lulua Al-Khairan area, adding that several complaints have been received concerning immoral activities and public brawls, especially in high-density locations within the area.

He stressed the need for fixed security points in many locations with the deployment of patrol teams to work there round the clock. Lieutenant General Al-Naham requested for the approval to issue licenses for temporary security points until permanent security points are completed.
