(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman, represented by the Central Bank of Oman (CBO), will take part today in the 71st meeting of the Committee of GCC Governors of Monetary Authorities and Central Banks, which is scheduled to be held in Kuwait.
The sultanate's delegation to the meeting will be headed by H E Tahir bin Salim al Amri, executive president of the CBO, according to a press statement.
During the meeting, the Committee will discuss a number of issues related to supervising and monitoring the GCC banking system and payment systems in addition to developments in financial technologies used in the banking sector.
The Committee will also discuss issues pertaining to the joint dialogue between GCC monetary authorities and central banks, some economic groups and conglomerates and other countries.
