Trump doubts Saudi account of Khashoggi's death

(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump declared that he is "not satisfied" with Saudi Arabia's account of the killing of reporter Jamal Khashoggi.

Saudi Arabia has confessed for the first time on Friday, that Mr Khashoggi has been pronounced dead, claiming that he died in a "fist fight" in its Istanbul consulate.

Turkish officials suspect Mr Khashoggi, a critical journalist of the Saudi government, has been killed and his corpse was cut into pieces.

Mr Trump confirmed: "I'm not satisfied until we find the answer," as the sanctions were a probability, however, stopping an arms agreement would "hurt us more than it would hurt them".
