(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia dismissed top intelligence officials on Saturday, reaching a decision for its key intelligence agency to be reshuffled.
The move was made by Saudi Arabia after Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was confirmed dead after disappearing for several weeks.
The Saudi journalist was reported missing after entering the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on October 2nd.
The Kingdom pronounced early Saturday the death of the journalist following a clash inside the consulate in Istanbul.
The decision to reform the General Intelligence Presidency was taken "in order to ensure the proper functioning of its work and the determination of responsibilities," as reported SPA.
