Qatar urged to commit to Pakistani employment pledge


(MENAFN) Qatar received an appeal from Pakistan to employ Pakistanis in its countries as it previously pledge.

The call was made by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan while speaking to Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani.

The Pakistani prime minister called on Qatar for 'early fulfillment of its promise of hiring 100,000 Pakistani workers.'

The Qatari side also received an urged from Pakistan to see a boost in working ties with the new government.

The Prime Minister Office stated: 'he (Qatari minister) conveyed the keen desire of the emir to work with the new leadership in Pakistan for further strengthening close and cordial relations between Pakistan and Qatar.'
