(MENAFN) The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai was announced to have launched the first phase of a major highway project.
The USD218 million Latifa bint Hamdan Street and Umm Al Sheef Street project is to be constructed to connect Al Khail Road and Parallel Roads.
The RTA further declared the second phase of the key project to be commencing next year during the first quarter.
Al Khail Road and Parallel Roads are planned to be linked using a network of bridges which cover 7.4 kilometers.
