U.S plans new strategies to fight Hizballah

(MENAFN) On Monday, U.S Attorney General Jeff Sessions proclaimed that a new mission force has been formed meant at zeroing in on Lebanon's Hizballah, as well as four of the world's most disreputable street bands and drug cartels.

Sessions selected the five sets as top transnational planned crime threats and affirmed the new mission force will "develop a plan to take each of these groups off of our streets for good".

The set contain Hizballah, which the U.S considers a terrorist association, MS-13, the Sinaloa Cartel, Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion and Clan del Golf.

The attorney general emphasized, the task force will permit federal prosecutors to better target priority organizations and make trials "more effective".
