(MENAFN) Bahrain was announced to be right on schedule in its expansion works of Bahrain International Airport.
Bahrain International Airport is to see its new passenger terminal all concluded by 2019, as scheduled.
The news was reported by Gulf Daily News, citing a top official.
The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development was reported to be financing the USD1.1 billion development project.
The funding is considered as part of Gulf Development Fund backing of which Bahrain's neighbors vowed in 2011.
