Saudi- Arab Culture Ministers 21st Conference Issues Final Recommendations 3 Cairo

The conference approved allocating a special account to finance the Cultural Capital TV project and called for giving room for occupied-territories-based Palestinians to take part in Arab cultural and intellectual projects and activities, including holding cultural weeks in different Arab capitals to cast light on the Palestinian cause.
The participants fixed the 13th of October every year as the International Novel Day.
They called for intensive efforts to spread Arabic language in the Comoro islands.
The conference lauded the initiative submitted by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, to create a mechanism of cooperation between the touristic and cultural sectors of the Arab nations.
They congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on having its Al-Ehsa'a oasis, Al-Mizmar dance and the Asiri Cat arts registered at the UNESCO as well as to the Sultanate of Oman for the register of its Galhat and Al-A'azi castles.
