The Police conducted a special operation in the Jaffna district and made several arrests.
The Police said that 64 people were arrested during the operation and of then 41 were detained for further questioning.
Over 500 policemen from the Jaffna, Vavuniya, Mannar and Kilinochchi Police stations were deployed for the special operation. (Colombo Gazette)
