Turkey to introduce service offices for citizenship process


(MENAFN) Turkey's Interior Ministry announced the country to be set to introduce service offices of which aim to facilitate the process of citizenship or long-term residence permits granted to foreign investors.

Turkey eased the imposed restrictions for foreigner permits in September to receive Turkish citizenship, with an aim to attract more investment.

In a statement, the ministry confirmed: "service offices will be opened in Istanbul and Ankara to follow and finalize citizenship or long-term residency permit processes for foreign visitors who met the conditions in a single location."

It added that the offices are set to be launched on October 22nd, in which they will asses requirements, help investors, offer consultancy and follow applications.
