He is the sixth player in cricket history to hit six sixes in one over after the West Indies' Sir Garry Sobers, India's Ravi Shastri, South Africa's Herschelle Gibbs, India's Yuvraj Singh and England's Ross Whiteley.

Although Zazai whacked spinner Abdullah Mazari for 36 in his 17-ball 62, he could not prevent a loss to the opposition in a match that was a runs galore.

'I was just trying to play my natural game and did not in any way think of outshining anyone. It's a proud moment for me that my name is now linked to so many big names,' he said in a post-match comment.

The 20-year-old, creating the record in the fourth over of the overnight game, is the second cricketer behind India's Yuvraj to achieve the feat in a Twenty20 match. The match was telecast live by Pakistani TV channel in Geo Super
