Ever since Ekta Kapoor launched the second season of 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay', there has been a curiosity about who will be the new Komolika.
And looks like all the speculations that 'Bigg Boss 11' contestant Hina Khan will play the role of television's favorite vamp are true.
On Sunday, Ekta introduced Hina as the new Komolika and shared her sassy look on social media.

Ekta shared a new teaser of KZK2 introducing Hina. The on-screen vamp has taken over the social media with her sass.
The new Komolika has a blend of Bihari and Bengali culture.
Dressed in black and silver lehenga and junk jewelry, Hina looked splendid. Her beach-perfect-body added to the oomph factor.
Undoubtedly, she looked stunning and we can't wait for more.

Hina is quite thrilled to portray Komolika and called it a big responsibility as she has to match the benchmark set by Urvashi Dholakia.
"Komolika became a household name who is reminisced even today. She is strongly instilled in the hearts and minds of the viewers. I'll try to retain the essence of the old character but with a new spin," she quipped.
Why did Hina choose to play a negative character?

Notably, this is the first time Hina will be playing a grey shade onscreen. Talking about the same, the diva said that the different shades of Komolika enticed her.
'Komolika is not a typical vamp and has a lot of shades to her," she added.
Hina also said that the viewers will see her in a never-seen-before avatar.
Can Hina do justice to Komolika?

Hina's Akshara (from 'Yeh Rishtaa Kya Kehlata Hai') was an emotional sanskari bahu, who only thought about family.
However, Komolika is the exact opposite to what Akshara was. She is wicked, evil, impish and full of drama. Years ago, Urvashi fit the bill perfectly and won our hearts.
We wonder if the sanskari bahu can do justice to our quintessential vamp Komolika.
