(MENAFN) Israel's authorities were reported by a Palestinian security official to have prohibited the supply of fuel to the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian security official unveiled: "Israel prevented the entry of all fuel transfers, including Qatari-funded shipments, into Gaza."
Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman made a demand for fuel shipments to the Gaza Strip to be banned.
It comes after the Gaza border witnessed demonstrations which caused seven Palestinians lives and several more wounded.
Israeli daily Haaretz reported Israeli security officials to have stood against the order of Lieberman to stop all fuel shipment into the Gaza Strip.
