DOHA: The Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Association Qatar (AMUAAQ) organized its third alumni get -together and General Body Meeting (GBM) of 2018 on October 11 at the lawns of the Museum of Islamic Art Park.
The Managing Committee presided by Jawed Ahmad successfully organized the event which saw the participation of over 160 alumni members and guests.
A homemade dinner and dessert feast was also organized as a part of the event. The meeting was coordinated by Zeyaul Haque, Sarwar Mirza, Javed Sultan, Danish Ali khan and Farman Khan.
The ladies' coordinators for the event were Dr. Ashna, Shadma, Zoobi. The added attractions of the event were the games for the kids, Tug of war for ladies and gents which were reminiscent of the yester-years. Winners and runners up of the contests were awarded with gifts.
The event was organized as a run up to the Sir Syed Day 2018 celebrations (scheduled for Friday, October 26, 2018 evening at Oryx Rotana Doha Hotel) and all related information and agenda was shared with participants.
