(MENAFN) Turkey commenced on Saturday the 5th phase of the 54th Presidential Cycling Tour in Selcuk district in the western Izmir province.
The race has been launched in Selcuk with the finishing line in Manisa, as athletes prepare to run for 135.7-kilometer.
The Tour of Turkey's final stage is scheduled to be initiated on Sunday between Bursa and Istanbul.
The event is being joined by 20 teams from all over the globe, with among them the Turkish national team set to participate in the 950-kilometer six-stage tour.
