HADRAMAUT, 11th October 2018 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, today distributed 200 food baskets to poor families in Al Ma'adi and Al Shahr districts of Hamdramut.
It also distributed 280 food baskets to the workers at Al Mukalla Port in a move to help them overcome difficult living conditions.
The beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the UAE and its humanitarian arm, the ERC.
A total of 23,136 food baskets have been distributed in Yemen since the beginning of 2018, which is marked as the 'Year of Zayed'. Until now, over 115,680 people of needy families benefited from the food aid programme."
