(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) DHAKA : Television personalities Faridur Reza Sagar, anchor Farza Brownia and singer Ferdous Ara escaped unhurt as the helicopter carrying them crash landed in Godagari of Rajshahi on October 11.
Captain Shakil, pilot of the helicopter EC130 of Impress Aviation Limited crash landed shortly after takeoff for technical glitch at around 2:30pm.
Bruised with minor injuries, they were all taken to Godagari Upazila Health Complex and released after first-aid.
The private helicopter S2 AHW of popular Channel i TV's sister organisation took off with six passenger amid rain.
Jahangir Alam, officer-in-charge of Godagari Police Station, who was a witness to the crash, said the helicopter crashed moments after taking off from the helipad and slammed to the ground.
After released from local health centre, Sagar, Ferdous Ara, and Farzana Brownia took a regular flight from Rajshahi airport and returned to Dhaka. Lawmaker Omar Faruk Chowdhury drove the survivors by road to Rajshahi.
The celebrities went to Anwara Fahim Ziauddin Pilot Girls High School to attend a programme of felicitation for outstanding girl students.
