Kuwait- Parliament speaker back home from Turkey


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) (Changing dateline) KUWAIT, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim and his party returned from Turkey on Wednesday evening after participating in the Third Eurasian Parliament Speakers Meeting in Antalya.
They took part in the event under an invitation from Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Binali Yildirim.
They were received at Kuwait Airport by secretary-general and secretary of the National Assembly Allam Al-Kandari and Dr. Awdeh Al-Ruwai'e, respectively, and Turkey's Ambassadress to Kuwait Ayse Hilal Sayan Koytak, according to Al-Dustour news network.
The gathering of 39 parliament speakers, representing some 3 billion of the world's population, explored ways to enhance the economic and environment cooperation among the Asian and European countries.
During his stay in Turkey, Al-Ghanim handed a message from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on bilateral and regional issues. (pickup previous) ns.gb
