Turkey, Iraq to discuss regional, bilateral relations

Turkey and Iraq will discuss regional and bilateral relations during the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu's visit to Baghdad, the Foreign Ministry of Turkey said in a message on Oct. 10.

Cavusoglu's visit to Baghdad is scheduled for October 11-12, reads the message.

"Cavusoglu is expected to meet with the newly elected Iraqi President Bahram Salih," the Turkish Ministry said.

According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, during the visit, Cavusoglu will also visit Erbil, where he will meet with officials of the Kurdish autonomy.
