(MENAFN) Israel was unveiled to be suffering from growing cases of measles ever since this year started, compared to a year ago.
The Israeli Ministry of Health showed in its data the country to have witnessed the number of measles cases increase to 480, from the 34 seen last year.
The measles epidemic spread in March this year, as Israel registered a total of eight cases.
The number of cases in April and May was raised to over 30 each month, while June and July cases hit 75 each.
The measles outbreak saw a significant increase with the number of cases standing at 127 in each August and September.
