Oman- Eight female students injured in Nizwa car accident, two serious


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Eight female students were injured in an accident when a car hit them in the wilayat of Nizwa on Wednesday afternoon.

Nizwa Hospital announced on its Twitter account that it had received eight female students injured in the car accident. 'Eight injured, including two cases of red and six yellow,' the hospital stated.

The colour code indicates the severity of a case. While red is serious, green is light and yellow is moderate injury, the black code refers to death

Speaking toMuscat Daily , a senior ROP official said, 'The incident took place in front of the Nizwa Basic Education School in Radat al Busaid area in the wilayat. A woman driver was in a rush to pick her children from the school. She failed to apply the brakes on time and hit the eight female students.'
