Azerbaijan has started production of a new sniper rifle for special forces.
The mentioned rifle was presented at the 3rd international defense exhibition ADEX-2018, which opened in Baku Sept. 25.
The long-range firing capability of the weapon is 1500 meters. The rifle weighs 11 kilograms. The sniper rifle hasn't yet been given a name.
In the near future, the weapons will be tested and handed over to the Armed forces of Azerbaijan.
