(MENAFN) The Lebanese parliament was announced to have completed the ratification of the international Arms Trade Treaty.
The 2014 international treaty is aiming to control international trade in conventional arms along with avoiding illegal trade.
The ratification infuriated Hezbollah, as legislator Ali Ammar stressed that it "infringes on the weapons of the resistance" while he stormed out of parliament.
Following the approval of the treaty, Lebanese Prime Ministry Saad Hariri confirmed that it is not related to Hezbollah's weaponry.
