Turkey's Erdogan rules out talks with Trump at UN assembly


(MENAFN) Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ruled out the possibility of talks with President Trump at the UN General Assembly meeting.

The Turkish president confirmed that "if a demand comes from Washington, we will evaluate it."

The president is to most likely deliver a speech on Tuesday at the UN assembly.

Erdogan noted "in my speech, I will underline humanitarian crises and call for solutions to these problems which have been deeply hurting hearts," adding "I will, in particular, draw attention to developments in Syria."
