Andy & Elmer's Apple Dumpling Adventure is part of an ongoing literacy program implemented by the Rotary Club of Fairborn, Ohio. The book demonstrates the Rotary Four-Way Test, which helps promote character literacy. It is made available to Rotary clubs across the U.S., Canada and beyond. The Rotary clubs purchase and then distribute the books to children in their local elementary schools.
New Sequel Book Released at End of September
Becky & Lin's Apple Orchard Park is just now being published in print for similar distribution. It conveys the Rotary theme of "Service Above Self," another way to promote character literacy.
