(MENAFN) The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) extinguished flames which hit a farm located in Shinas, Oman.
The fire has erupted in a stack of animal fodder, Omani authorities explained without disclosing further details.
"The fire and ambulance teams from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in North Batinah managed to extinguish a fire that broke out in a large animal fodder (pile) and a number of trees in wilayat Shinas," PACDA unveiled in an online statement.
The fire has been controlled by firefighters who stopped it from reaching neighboring crops and other trees.
