Kuwait- SAB announces nomination for ASOSAI membership


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's State Audit Bureau announced Sunday its nomination for a membership in the Governing Board of Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions for the period of 2018-2021.
The elections of Governing Board members will be held at the 14th ASOSAI Assembly in Hanoi, Vietnam, between 19 and 22 September 2018, Issam Al-Mutairi, SAB's assistant undersecretary for financial, administrative affairs, and information technology, said in a statement.
At the forthcoming event, SAB will submit a blueprint on environmental auditing and observation, Al-Mutairi said, adding the Bureau will also discuss its auditing procedures in accordance with the Civil Service Commission's certified general auditing guidelines.
SAB will also address the impact and achievements of its environmental auditing operations, as well as CSC's sustainable development efforts, he added.
Furthermore, SAB's delegation at the 14th ASOSAI Assembly, headed by Acting President Adel Abdul Aziz Al-Sarawi, will also hold bilateral meetings with a number of participating supreme audit institutions from Turkey, Pakistan, Thailand, Japan, China, India, and Mongolia.
SAB has been an ASOSAI member since 1984. It was also a member in ASOSAI's governing board and training committee during the periods of 1997-2003 and 2006-2012. (end) aam.ht.ma
