Saudi Arabia to Launch Digital Giving Initiative to Disseminate Arab Communities' Awareness, Enrich Arabic Technical Content, in the Globe

Riyadh, Muharram 5, 1440, Sep 15, 2018, SPA -- Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) plans to launch a first-of-its-kind and worldwide initiative to promote digital literacy. among Arab communities, around the world. due to the ineffectiveness of Arab technical content on the Internet. which stands at 1% of the total global technical content.
The Digital Giving initiative, which is attended by more than 1,400 professionals, aims at enriching Arab technical content through a number of innovative means and creative tools, with the participation of a group of experts, specialists and technical amateurs from around the world.
Ministry announced the completion of all preparations to launch this initiative to raise the digital capacity of the community by spreading the culture of giving, contributing to training and educating people about digital content and the most important technical knowledge.
Digital Giving initiative is particularly important for motivating digital literacy professionals to spread knowledge to all members of the community, to highlight the distinctive forms and technical models, to benefit the community from technical means to facilitate life, improve performance efficiency and to increase productivity, promoting, thus, meaningful and constructive cooperation, for the community service, and building a database of software technologies
