Back in May, amid much fan-fare, OnePlus 6 was launched as the quintessential flagship killer smartphone.

And the phone did receive a lot of love with OnePlus beating the likes of Apple and Samsung to lead the premium smartphone category in India.

But Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco has pulled a 'OnePlus' with its Poco F1 flagship looking to be a 'flagship killer' killer.

The Poco F1 costs Rs. 20,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant. The mid-variant with 6GB RAM/128GB storage costs Rs. 23,999, while the top-end 8GB/256GB model costs Rs. 28,999.

On the other hand, OnePlus 6 starts at Rs. 34,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB configuration and Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB/128GB option. The top-end OnePlus 6 variant with 8GB RAM/256GB storage costs Rs. 43,999.

Up front, both the phones sport a notched display but OnePlus 6 has a smaller display cut-out and slimmer bezels than the Poco F1.

On the back, OnePlus 6 gets a glass panel while Poco F1 settles for a polycarbonate back.

The Poco F1 features a 12MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with dual-pixel autofocus, paired with a 5MP (f/2.0) secondary depth sensor, and can slow-mo in 720p/1080p at up to 240fps.

The OnePlus 6 offers a 16MP (f/1.7) Sony IMX519 sensor and 20MP (f/1.7) Sony IMX376K sensor, with OIS, EIS, and support for 480fps slow-mo recording at 720p.

OnePlus 6 is a solid flagship killer with top-end specs, good cameras, and a premium look.

However, with a bigger battery, a dedicated cooling system, expandable storage, a good display, decent cameras, and top-end specs, Poco F1 is undoubtedly the 'flagship killer' killer.

And just in case you didn't notice the pricing, Poco F1 costs around Rs. 14,000 less than the OnePlus 6.
