Free Dubai Autodrome Motorsport Expo this weekend


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Dubai Autodrome is gearing up to host the third edition of the Emirates Motorsport Expo (EME) on Friday, September 14. Convening more than 60 exhibitors and 4,000 motoring enthusiasts, key speakers at the day-long event will notably unveil the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE's motorsport calendar for 2018/19.

Free to the public, EME will open its gates from 2pm to 10pm and offer you a chance to interact with drivers of the race series. You can also view up close an exceptional line-up of circuit cars. For racing enthusiasts, the event will feature a spectacular showcase of the latest cars on offer from participating manufacturers as well as local businesses in the growing aftermarket/tuning industry in the UAE.

Sideline activities for the public include passenger ride on the main circuit and Easy Drift in the race paddock. Super Car Majlis Club will not only be on display but also feature in a loud-and-proud parade lap around the Dubai Autodrome circuit.

Debuting this season is the new Power Hour Challenge that will allow spectators to watch a unique selection of race cars in action on track. A variety of rally legends, historic F1 cars, drift cars, classics, drag cars and super cars will each get a lap of glory. The event will also have car displays, food trucks and merchandise.
