Ukraine, Poland to conduct three joint audits in Zakarpattia region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Audit Chamber of Ukraine and the Supreme Audit Office of Poland will conduct joint audits over observing the rights of Ukrainians in Poland and Poles in Ukraine as well as other issues.

This was discussed at the bilateral meeting of Chairman of the Audit Chamber of Ukraine Valery Patskan and President of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, an Ukrinform correspondent learnt from the press service of the Zakarpattia Regional Council.

"On Friday, August 31, the bilateral meeting of Chairman of the Audit Chamber of Ukraine Valery Patskan and President of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland Krzysztof Kwiatkowski took place at the [Zakarpattia] regional council. The parties discussed joint international audits which will concern Zakarpattia region, particularly, the response to problems related to movement, employment and social protection of Ukrainians in Poland and Poles in Ukraine, compliance with the requirements of the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal and the environmental protection in Zakarpattia region," the report says.
