(MENAFN) Lebanese security agents seized a shipment of cocaine, valued at three million dollars in the illegal market, during an operation at the capital Rafik Hariri international airport, the corporation reported today.
The drugs were hidden inside bottles of shampoo and cosmetics imported from Brazil, the note said.
The firm reports that 98 shampoo containers contained 61 percent cocaine in each bottle and also found another unspecified illicit substance.
After four months of investigations, Lebanese internal security forces arrested one of the key narcotics traffickers on August 15.
