(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ARAFAT, Aug 20 (KUNA) -- Pilgrims headed Monday to Mount Arafah in Makkah to perform Hajj's most important and grandest rite.
Pilgrims are expected to stay in the area until sunset before heading to Muzdalifa.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), top security and medical officials in the Kingdom have supervised and inspected all measures aimed at facilitating pilgrims' movements and ensuring their safety during this day of extreme devotion and prayers.
After leaving Mount Arafah, pilgrims are expected to stay in Muzdalifa until early Tuesday, which will be the first day of Eid Al-Adha. (end) nsa.hb
