(MENAFN) The fatality number of floods and landslides triggered by heavy rains in the southern Indian state of Kerala in the past few days, has reportedly reached 79.
Local reports revealed that the water levels are increasing and the towns and villages in main areas are quickly flooded.
Hundreds of rescue teams are in efforts to rescue people through the state.
India's National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the Indian military force have been racing time to do rescue operation in the affected areas I the state.
