(MENAFN) Palestine's President Mahmoud Abbas expressed opposition to the United State's political proposal which is described as the "Deal of the Century".
The plan proposes handling the Palestinian-Israeli dispute through pushing Palestinians to secure concessions, including the condition of the city of East Jerusalem.
The Palestinian leader voiced his objection on the deal during the opening of the Palestine Liberation Organization's (PLO) Central Council in Ramallah.
Abbas stated "we are the first to stand against it [the American deal] and we will continue to do that until we bring it down."
